This wild monkey was seen in the year 2004 in Seven Star Park (七星公园), Guilin (桂林), and photographed by Wenlin personnel.
The following was written on a sign in the same park:
警告各位游客:
七星公园普陀山、月牙山、辅星山上有 100 多只野化猕猴, 经常出没在公园的道路、山旁, 成为公园的一道自然景观, 吸引了广大的中外游客, 但在猴群当中, 有个别脾气暴躁, 偶尔有袭击游客的现象发生, 因此, 敬请各位游客在赏猴时注意安全, 与猴群保持一定距离, 不要戏弄猴子, 以防意外事故的发生。
