Wenlin version 2.6 fixes a few programming errors in versions 2.0 through 2.5. (The most obnoxious of those errors, in 2.4 and 2.5, involved the slash key and non-English keyboards. Another error could cause a crash if you edited a dictionary entry shown in the list of words by serial number. There was also a problem on MS-Windows with not being able to open some files by double-clicking their icons.)
If you don't already have version 2.4 or 2.5, please see What Was New in Wenlin 2.4.
Other than the improvements just mentioned, the documentation for 2.6 remains the same as for 2.0. To maximize stability and compatibility, the only further changes we'll make to 2.x, if any, will be to fix mistakes. We're not adding any new features to 2.x -- those will be in 3.0!
Licensed users of Wenlin 2.0 or later may download the files needed to update to 2.6, free of charge, by going to the update page.
