Wenlin Institute, a California corporation, is in the process of converting to a nonprofit, in order to serve our educational mission most effectively. One requirement for nonprofit status is not to try to influence legislation. In the past, we announced our opposition to the war against Iraq, and advocated impeachment of the Bush/Cheney administration for deceit and war crimes. As a nonprofit corporation, we will no longer take positions on legislative issues. We remain committed to world peace. Individual members and associates of Wenlin Institute may, of course, continue to express their views freely on any subject. (August, 2009)
