The Wenlin 3.4.1 update for MacOS Classic (System 9.0 through 9.x) is in a Bin-Hex file named wenlin341.hqx (5,345,124 bytes). It requires a PowerPC Macintosh.
If you have not already installed Wenlin 3.0 or later on your hard drive, do so before installing the update, so that there will be a Wenlin3 folder to contain the changed files.
Quit Wenlin if it is running. Then click on the link below to download wenlin341.hqx. Your browser may automatically save the file in some location such as the Desktop, or it may let you choose the the location in which to save it. You can save it in any convenient location. It's likely that your Web browser will un-Bin-Hex it for you (otherwise you may need a utility such as Compact Pro or Stuffit to un-Bin-Hex it), to produce the Self Extracting Archive file called Wenlin 3.4.1.sea. That may also be run automatically; if not, double click on it to run it, then choose "Extract".
You will end up with a folder named Update to Wenlin 3.4.1 Classic, containing two new icons: the new application file Wenlin 3.4.1 Classic, and a folder named Wenlin 3.4 Update Files. Drag those two icons into the Wenlin3 folder on your hard drive (where 3.0 or later is already installed). Make sure to put both of them in the Wenlin3 folder.
Trash the old application file Wenlin 3.0 Classic (or 3.1 etc.) and any aliases or taskbar icons that point to it. The first time you run version 3.4.1, it will automatically move the files from the Wenlin 3.4 Update Files folder into their appropriate locations (in the Help, Text, and W3DB folders), and then it will delete the Wenlin 3.4 Update Files folder.
