The Wenlin 3.4.1 update for MS-Windows (95/98/2000/NT/Me/XP/Vista) is contained in an installation program named WL341UP.EXE (3,401,714 bytes).
If you have not already installed Wenlin 3.0 or later on your hard drive, do so before installing the update, so that there will be a Wenlin3 folder to contain the changed files.
Quit Wenlin if it is running. Then click on the link below to download WL341UP.EXE. Your browser may automatically save it in some location such as the Desktop, or it may let you choose the location in which to save it. You can save it in any convenient location. After downloading it, run it by double-clicking on the WL341UP.EXE icon.
IMPORTANT: the installation program will prompt you for the location where Wenlin 3 is already installed. The default is C:\Program Files\Wenlin3. If Wenlin 3 is installed in a different folder, you must specify that folder. The update will only work if it is installed in the same location as the earlier version. WARNING: in the selection dialog, if you double-click on the Wenlin3 folder, you might end up with something like this: C:\Program Files\Wenlin3\Wenlin3, which is no good, you don't want to create another folder named Wenlin3 inside the existing Wenlin3 folder, so make sure it doesn't get doubled that way. To fix it, you can double-click on Program Files; notice that Wenlin3 gets appended automatically.

The files that will be created or replaced are as follows:
The installer was built using a great tool called Inno Setup from www.jrsoftware.org.
