Updates for Wenlin Software for Learning Chinese

For users of version 4.0 (including 4.0.1), a free update to 4.0.2 is available, and strongly recommended, since there are several important bug fixes; see defects for details.

The update to Version 4.0.2 is only available to currently licensed users of 4.0. It won't work unless you have already installed 4.0 on your hard drive.

To update, first please download the file wenlin_dictionary_changes_2011_02_07.zip, which contains corrections to some typos in the dictionaries. Unzip it, open the two files in it with Wenlin 4, and choose Import List of Entries from the Dictionary menu for each of the two files. Then click on the link below for your operating system:

Users of versions prior to 4.0 can upgrade to 4.x for a fraction of the full price -- please see the upgrade page. (We make a distinction between free updates and inexpensive upgrades.)
